We know getting ready for college can feel like a lot, so we’ve put together a list of things we recommend bringing for your new home in PDub.
Feel free to bring anything else that makes your space feel like you, as long as it follows campus policies. Think of this as a starting point to help you pack.
We can’t wait to see you at Purple Palace!
Packing
PDub doubles are about 12’ x 17’. Each double has two beds, two desks and chairs, built-in shelves by the window, two wardrobes (without doors), a sink, a mirrored medicine cabinet, and both a trash and recycling bin.
We’ve also included photos of doubles from this past year to give you some inspiration and ideas for making the space your own!
Doubles
Quads in P-dub consist of three connected rooms, each about 10’ x 12’. Each side room has two beds, two desks and chairs, two wardrobes (without doors), a sink, a mirrored medicine cabinet, a trash and recycling bin, and a window with a shade.
The middle room connects the side rooms and is usually used as a shared common space. It doesn’t come with furniture, so roommates can decide together how to set it up.
